Use this checklist to determine if an object is a mineral or not a mineral!
- The object should be inorganic or not living
- The object should be a solid, not a liquid or gas
- The object should have a definite chemical compound or should be made up of the same elements
- The object should be made by nature, not by humans
If all of these boxes are checked, you found a mineral!
