Glass is a transparent material used in plates, cups, windows, and even art! Glass is made from natural raw materials such as sand and limestone. Those materials are melted down into molten material. That is done using a kiln which is super hot!! The molten glass is now cooling fast, so they reheat the glass up so that it is still workable. Glass can be made by skilled glassblowers or by machines that use molds! As the glass cools, it becomes transparent and very fragile! That is the glass that we see today! From sand to beautiful glass!!
