What is Water?
Water is a substance that is found everywhere on Earth! It can be a solid, liquid, or gas. It is necessary for life on Earth. It’s chemical compound is H2O. That means two Hydrogen (H2) atoms and one Oxygen (O₂) atom. This bond is called a Water Molecule. Water gives living things nutrition and minerals to survive. Because of water pollution, the freshwater in the world is decreasing. FUN Fact!!! The Water Molecules in the world are older than the Earth, older than the Sun and the Solar System!! The molecules were formed at the beginning of the universe!!
