This website is all about science. The podcast is too. But, what is the scientific method that scientists use to conduct experiments! Read this post to find out!
What is the Scientific Method?
The scientific method is a series of steps that scientists use to collect data from experiments! The scientific method is what science is really based on. This is what the scientific method is: make a question/observation, make a hypothesis, conduct an experiment, chart data, and draw a conclusion! An observation or question that you have is the first step. It can be like “do plants really need the Sun to grow?” After that, you make a hypothesis or a scientific guess on what the answer of the question might be. Then, comes your experiment to test out your question or observation. You also collect data or results to conclude your experiment. Then, draw your conclusion. It is the results and the answer of the question through experimentation. That is the scientific method!
