What Is The Greenhouse Effect and What Causes It?

The Greenhouse Effect is what climate change is caused by. This effect is when gases like Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Methane (CH4) are released into the atmosphere. These gases, also known as greenhouse gases trap the heat that the Sun beams out inside of Earth’s atmosphere. This happens because these gases are able to absorb the Sun’s heat and keep it inside of the atmosphere. This causes the Earth to get hotter and hotter. This means that sea level rise and ice cap melting will happen.
