Materials:
- Colored lights (or light filters) in red, green, and blue
- A blank, preferably white wall
- A dark room
- An adult science helper!
Directions: In this activity, you will learn about RGB lighting and how these colors mix together. Turn on the colored lights and shine them in separate spots on the wall. Next, try bringing two lights close to one another until they start to overlap on the wall. Do you notice a color change? Try this out with all of the lights. You will start to notice that when red, green, and blue lights combine in different ways, they create many different colors.
