- December 14: A total Solar Eclipse will be visible in South America
- December 21-22: Ursids Meteor Shower will reach its maximum
- December 21: The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn will be visible at night
- December 21: Winter Solstice and first day of Winter
