Why is Climate Change Speeding Up?

What is Climate Change?

Climate Change is when the Earth’s temperature changes because of the environment. The temperature is changing because of Greenhouse Gases. These gases are produced whenever we burn stuff like gasoline for our cars. These gases trap the heat from the Sun in the atmosphere. This causes the planet to heat up. These gases can also be produced naturally, like volcanoes.

Why is Climate Change Speeding Up?

Climate Change is speeding up these days because more and more gasoline cars are on the road. When these cars burn gasoline, they produce Carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that is a cause of Climate Change. Another reason is power plants. Some power plants use coal and wood to burn and generate power. That also produces Carbon dioxide. This is speeding up every year! But, do not worry! Scientists are working on producing more power with solar and wind energy and even making fully electric cars much more efficient.
