Conservation of Natural Resources

A natural resource is any resource that occurs in nature that is used for survival, energy, or to make money for countries. Certain places on Earth have different types or different amounts of natural resources. These resources can be anything from coal to fruits to sunlight! These are only a few examples of natural resources on Earth! These natural resources are usually found in the specific geologic parts of Earth. For example, the U.S. has a large coal supply. Conservation of natural resources means to protect the supply and quality of the resources. The supply is how much of it we have on Earth. The quality is to protect how clean/good the natural resource is. Conservation is really important because we use natural resources every day and rely on them for food, energy, and shelter! Humans have to take the effort to conserve natural resources.
